KERATRIX ™

Tips + Multifunctional Use

[01] HAIR WASH

For best results, we recommend double cleansing and reducing the amount of times you wash your hair each week.

Lather a small amount between the palms of your hands and apply to wet hair. Massage and leave in for a few minutes, allowing the actives to treat the hair and scalp. Rinse and repeat.

The first cleanse breaks the surface tension of the hair allowing the second to interact with the hair fibre to form a rich lather and perform a more thorough cleanse.

After exhaustive research into the safest preservative systems available today, Sans [ceuticals] chose the following:

Dehydroacetic Acid & Benzyl Alcohol

An Ecocert approved, multi-use, broad spectrum preservative system that is a synergistic blend of organic acid and alcohol. Meets COSMOS standards and is NATRUE Certified—NATRUE is a non-profit organisation that provides certification guaranteeing the ingredient is genuinely natural. NATRUE also guarantees the ingredient is Soil Association approved and not tested on animals.

Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate

Winner of the UK Green Technology design award, this new generation preservative is fully biodegradable and a new, environmentally friendly alternative on the natural-care market. Scores a ‘low hazard’ 1 out of 10 on EWG's Skin Deep® Cosmetics Database—a US, non-profit, environmental organisation that specialises in research and advocacy in the areas of toxic chemicals.

Rosmarinus Officinalis [Rosemary] Leaf Extract

This powerful herb has superior antioxidant strength, making it a favourite in the preservation of food and cosmetics. Rosemary extract is used to slow microbial growth on food and prevents oxidation of oils in skin care formulations.

Potassium Sorbate

Discovered by the French in the 1850s and derived from the berries of the mountain ash tree, potassium sorbate is the potassium salt of sorbic acid. It is primarily used as a food preservative to inhibit moulds and yeasts in many foods, such as cheese, wine, yogurt, dried meats and apple cider.

[natural fragrance]

Our fragrance [fragrance is a term required by EU regulations] is 100 percent natural and extracted using CO2 supercritical extraction. This is one of the cleanest and purest ways of obtaining extracts and actives from ingredients and eliminates the need for potentially harmful solvents such as hexane, often used in the manufacture of ‘absolute' and 'fragrance oils’. This method also produces a more alive, rich and spirited aroma.

Gentle and effective

I really love this shampoo - the smell, the consistency, the fact that a small amount goes a long way. I've been using this shampoo in combo with the Hair Hydratant Ultra+ for about 8 months now, and I'm so happy with how my hair looks.

Heavenly Scent & Luxurious Lather

Nourishing Hair

I have fine hair which can easily look a bit lack lustre but since I’ve been using Nourishing Hair Wash I’ve noticed a real difference, my hair has a lot more volume. I recently got my haircut and my hairdresser commented on how healthy and nourished my hair was looking.

Perfect shampoo for regular use

This shampoo is lovely, as it nourishes and leaves hair feeling healthy/clean without stripping it of moisture. I have a lot of fine hair with natural wave/curl and I love that after I use this shampoo, I don't feel the need to overuse conditioner - something I've rarely encountered post-wash. Can't say enough about the natural ingredients and naturally derived scent. Warm, slightly citrus, subtle scent. Will continue to use this wonderful product.

Loving this

I usually use an organic salon shampoo from Italy. Decided to try this since I love the other Sans products. It’s really nice. I gave short hair so don’t bother with a conditioner and thus shampoo leaves my short hair silky soft. And I even noticed I can get away with washing it less often. And it costs less than my salon shampoo too.

Does exactly what it says

I alternate between this and the Balancing wash. When my hair feels a little on the drier side, the Nourishing shampoo works a treat. The rich lather feels lovely too.

Game changer

I brought this product in desperation for my child's very dry and coarse curly hair. She would cry every morning when I brushed it. We have used it once with the PH shine and hydrant intense conditioner and it has worked immediately. Her hair is soft and manageable. It's been 10 days without washing and it still looks great.
